For the fourth time in as many years, Chelsea will tour the United States this summer as part of the club's pre-season preparation. The first training session overseas is scheduled for July 10, in Los Angeles. The first match will be played on July 14, in Stanford against Club América from Mexico City.

The Blues' trips across the ocean have become a bit of a tradition. In 2004, Chelsea played Celtic, Milan and Roma on American soil. This was Michael Ballack's first match for Chelsea. While in Los Angeles, he also met an old acquaintance living there - national coach Jürgen Klinsmann (see photo).
